Was using a cheap de razor for some time and was constantly getting slight razor burn however once I switched to this razor I got the perfect shave and no more razor burn. Fantastic razor

I've been through quite a few razors; 34C, Futur, Progress, Slant and some vintage ones. The 34C was my daily over 5 years, even if it occasionally bit if going too hard, nothing else came even close. I got the 30C for something different and to rest up the 34 occasionally. I didn't think it would be that much different. I've had it months now and it's replaced the 34 totally. This smoothes out the rough blades and tames the sharp ones, yet is efficient as the 34, without the aggression.

I'd long given up on Feather blades, they irritated my skin in any razor I tried. I just got a few to try recently, and the 30 makes them great to use, and has taken my shaving results to another level. I got great shaves with both razors before, but the 30C does it smoother, more comfortably, and closer.

Great weight to it. Beautiful upgrade from the HD. Just glides down my face giving me a perfect shave!

Grip is really good. Much better compared to the HD.

This is my first DE razor. I was planning on buying the 20C long handle http://www.mensbiz.com.au/merkur-long-handle-black-double-edge-razor-20c.html but managed to order this one instead (silly me!). The short handle has grown on me however, and if I ever replaced this one I'd definitely still keep it as my travel razor. The shave is good, the construction is great, and the grip is really grippy. My only issue (which may be me still learning technique) is that each side of the razor seems to give a slightly different edge to the blade. Anyway, loving learning DE shaving. No regrets! :D

I've used many safety razors over my 27 years of shaving and this has to be the best yet. Super smooth shave and the handle is a great addition having a nice grip to it. Forget all of those Gillette 3 and 4 blades which I find useless and expensive, this razor absolutely craps all over them! Use this razor and you'll wonder why you've used all of the others.

This is my first safety razor, and I love it. Way better then all those other one. It took some practice, but now I shave without any cuts.

This razor was my first foray into the magnificent world of Safety Razor shaving. I found it super easy to use as a beginner as it has a very nice weight combined with a super comfortable feel. Would recommend it to those starting out.

I got this razor in one of the kits, this is my first razor and my god the bench has been set high. This little beauty radiates quality and class. It is perfect weight, the balance is so precise I don’t have to apply any pressure I just let it make the blade work for me. The handle is GREAT, it gives me such a sure grip which is vital for me because I shave in the shower and if I drop my razor it’s good by toes. All in all its perfection 5 out of 5!
