Blackland took the same beloved design that put them on the map and machined it entirely from solid titanium, creating the lightest and most maneuverable Blackbird ever. While the shift from stainless to titanium might seem trivial, it is transformational in the Blackbird, giving it the best combination of smoothness and efficiency of any double-edge razor. After being CNC machined, every piece of the Blackbird Titanium is individually media blasted in-house to a delicate satin finish. Smooth, consistent, and beautiful. The satin finish is the perfect finish to match the simple, functional elegance of the Blackbird Titanium.

A titanium razor boasts several benefits. Half the density of stainless steel, titanium decreases blade feel - as you press the blade into your skin with less force than an equivalent stainless steel razor. It is the perfect middleweight for a safety razor - not too heavy, not too light; and can be as efficient as stainless steel when you need it to be - just add in a bit more pressure for any trouble spots, then lighten up for the rest of your shave to get that incredible smoothness and glide of titanium.
