Merkur 933 Travel Razor with Leather Case

My comparison razors are vintage, an old gillette open comb tech, and a black handle super adjustable. This is a very gentle razor, and while I need to run more blades through for a better comparison it seems less blade sensitive than some others. I do a full head shave, and it does well in the harder parts (back of the crown). It also rinses like a champ. Honestly the hardest part is storing the in-use blade during transit. but given how many shower kits have been trashed by my other razors, it's not a unique problem.

Awesome double edge razor

Incredibly compact in the tiny case, but still comfortable to use when assembled. Standard Merkur head, the handle telescopically screws together. Quality leather case, fits a couple of loose wrapped spare blades.

I was at first dubious when my delivery arrived. How could I possibly get a clean shave from something so light and small? Well, what a revelation. With some small adjustment to account for the lightness of this razor, it shaves beautifully and almost as well as my usual daily razor. SO much so that I could easily use it day to day! Breaks down to the sized of a tic tac package. Highly recommended.

This is a brilliant little razor and it gives a respectable shave. It packs down just slightly larger than a pack of tic-tacs. Around 1.5x

It is ultralight so be aware you will need to adjust your shaving style

The handle comes apart and one part goes inside the other to take up even less space - very clever. The shave is great and I use the Astra blades - they suit me well. Looking forward to feeling even more suave on my next trip!

Wow! I was surprised when this arrived!

The entire razor is stored in this mini black leather case. I had done some research prior to purchasing, but I never expected it to be so small!

That is by no means a negative comment, as its meant to be a travel razor, and that it certainly is!

Being Merkur the quality and finish are top notch, and the black leather case keeps the razor protected while travelling.

While I find the shave to be quite "Mild" as in Non-Agressive, it was fantastic, and certainly while travelling this would be top notch companion!

I still use this razor as part of my regular rotation, and can defiantly recommend this to any one travelling or anyone wanting to add a "Travel" razor to their collection like myself!
