One might start with Moon Bloom, Hiram’s first fragrance that remains his most popular. At a glance, it is a white floral. More closely, it is the precious decadence of tuberose and jasmine absolute. Moon Bloom is triumphant and beautiful, but it too is focused and kept within clear dimensions. A hint of spiciness, leafiness, and a resinous knot tying the fragrance together - these white florals are all of themselves, and nothing else!

Slowdive is a honey-tobacco fragrance without coarseness, drawing sweetness from blossoms and flowers. It is heady, lush, sunwarmed, and generous. Glossy honey notes are set against a hazy bucolic feeling; like a siesta among golden grasses. Arbolé maintains much of this languorous feeling through a powdery vector consisting of patchouli, tonka bean, and vanilla. Its central patchouli note develops across its full aromatic spectrum: green, spicy, woody - it all melts, taking on various configurations.

Hiram Green deftly explores classic perfume themes. Arcadia is a faithful rendering of the lavender fougere. Its quality is remarkable, with the key features of the aromatic fougere - its hot and cold contrasts, oscillations, swings - Hiram proves that using high quality materials within a familiar form is enough to make exquisite. Shangri La, on the other hand, confidently says chypre. The bracing sparkle of bright and gently bitter bergamot is set against a base made from oakmoss, labdanum resin, and woods, tied together with peach - which brings forward the florals in the heart of the scent.

Hyde is truly a remarkable leather, full of well-formed smokiness, both intense and elegant at once. Built from birch tar - it showcases its many accents: wood, herbs, sweetness, and certain smoke. Some citrus acidity provides relief, resins complexify, and precious cassie flower (acacia farnesiana) imparts spiciness and floral intensity, completing this leather accord. Hyde is assertive and extravagant.
