Patchouli is placed centre stage in Arbole, and is the alpha and the omega of the composition. It's a melty blend: the patchouli note is surprisingly elastic, powdery and chewy, fluffy and unctuous - its viscosity appears to change from instance to instance. At times you can smell its jungle green, and at other times its sublimation into exquisitely refined powder with the help of vanilla and tonka bean. Arbole is complex, but also cohesive, supported by a woody frame completely lacking in hard or sharp edges.

It’s exactly the type of scent one makes into a signature. Obvious at first glance but rich and deep upon closer inspection. It is a hint piquant, both luscious and tender, and very satisfying to wear.
