Peau d'Espagne is a fragrance of few words all able to maintain an effective volume. Birch is the focal note in this fragrance, evoking tarry sun-kissed leathers that have been graced with age and given an impenetrably warm patina. This accord is wrapped in an enlivening rush of aromatic herbs, carnation, and bergamot. And yet, underneath the desiccation there's a subtle yet memorable sweetness.
