In Pavlova, the pineapple comes forward in neon outline, tinted with additions of passionfruit, peach, coconut, and raspberry - a generous tropical cocktail then poured over a fluffy mound of meringue with a crisp shell and gooey interior. As the scent develops, the sweetness pulls back without wholly subsiding, tropical notes turn more into raspberry coulis, finding softness in a mixture of vanilla, sandalwood, and musk - with a surprising hint of woodiness. Delicious perfumery treated seriously.
