from 8933 reviewsI have used American Crew Light Hold for many years.
It’s my go to for controlling my hair.
Normally I’m not a fan of patchouli notes, but this perfume is gorgeous. Once it sinks in, it’s warm, sweet, and spicy.
RISVELIUM Is the new addition to the Orto Parisi line and it does not disappoint. While Orto Parisi scents tend to be very divisive, I believe Risvelium is a nice middle ground. While wet it has a strong grapefruit and orange peel scent with an undertone of pineapple, which dries down to the scent of turned earth and fresh herbs (think parsley and bay leaf, a green scent but not grassy). It finishes off with a light wood and leather scent (closer to a light sandalwood or palm wood and the leather is not overpowering think a well worn leather jacket). I personally love this scent, with it tying with Terroni for my favourite.
lovely fragrance and good longevity
Beautiful loud artistic fragrance. My second full bottle. Need a fresh air or cold weather. Quite specific, not for blind purchase. Thank you very much for a prompt delivery!
For me ,this product is next level. It works perfectly for me. It is a game charger.
This is so lovely - it’s calm and tranquil but also fresh and has a little punch. It’s exactly what I need but it’s just not very strong unfortunately
quality products @ good price..
Really fresh and tangy at first but quietens down into a subtle but noticeable scent, with those citrus and amber notes really springing out at you! Wear it lightly to work but can wear it out as well - very versatile.
The plush, cushioned interior of my Pappou’s hatchback, holding the heat of extinguished Marlborough’s, pain thinner and noxious fumes from his paint brushes, sweat and labour. Maybe it was the latent nicotine that crept into the budding neurons of my neonate cortex, priming current addictions; priming visions of family at the expense of toxins, whether chemical or bureaucratic; and priming the expectation of a $50 dollar bill, forced into my pocket as I squirmed and hesitated and weaseled about like my mother trained me — inevitably giving way to his calloused hands.
My young, soft face would greet his freshly damp, leathery skin exposed violently with its ethnic charm as I would go in for a loving hug. His face astringent from the Aramis aftershave we would buy him for his birthday every year without fail, that would meander down into the linen or cotton of his button-up or singlet, respectively.
He lives on a highway, and nestled behind an automotive with cars leaking radiator fluid, that we would hide under as children, a venomous sanctuary. The rushing petroleum smog of trucks traveling from foreign far-aways rushing past… this too, a reminder that sometimes we are drawn to the rush of hydrocarbon poisons, perhaps, inspiring our desire for the very genre of Chypres.
Francesca Bianci manages to capture this moment with precision, of course. Here oakmoss meets smoke meets lemon trees and spinach growing out of concrete. For some reason I hold the passionate belief that this is the closest we will see to Aramis 1966, as if we were to go on a grave robbery just to smell the cerement of our ancestors. This is HELLA retro, but I’ll continue to douse myself in it in anticipation of that $50 dollar bill…
I got the razor to shave my head and it's a no regret purchse. For a specialised use like the scalp it's great but be aware if you shave your face you will want another razor for that job.
I am happy with my purchase.
I have a full head of hair and use 3 blades and it handles me fine but it can take less razors if so inclined.
The head can be a little tricky around the ears, I got the leaf thorn for face shaving as happy with the brand.
Way closer shave than my barber soap. Also rubricate the skin in a pleasant way. Now It's only left to choose the right fragrance of the ten different testers. Reasonable priced as well :-)
Loved the smell of most of these
Excellent razor. Designed to be used around beards, the shorter blade and Spanish point definitely help in that regard. The scales are very nicely finished as is the blade. Has a well balanced feel. Very high quality all round. It is most certainly shave ready straight out of the box.
Of course, this is a straight razor so, if you’re new to this style of shaving as I am, go slow and watch some 'How to videos '.
Under My Skin is the last, heated, most passionate moment lived between two loving bodies after accepting the death of their union. There is rage and melancholy and true bliss; furiously wresting against bare skin with anguish in a final act of intimacy; and the yearning and regret that proceeds its climax. It becomes the essence of the warm cavity left beside your lamenting body that once held your first love — as you toss and turn in your sleep; as it does of the anticipation that you, yourself, may become the cavity you fear…
We are forced to remember Iris, the goddess believed to guide souls into their afterlife, so much as she guides the souls of dying love across oblivion.
Under My Skin is never a perfume, it is a receptacle of the movement, of the change, of the transformation that you must be both willing and unwilling to accept as a lover — a notion fortified by the Latin phrase, ‘Nolens Volens’.
For the first time in my life, I have struggled to put words to a scent profile: “pornographic irises blooming against dark resin and hot sweat leaking adrenaline” is all my mind could generate, since I feel this perfume is for the heart, the heart and the heart.
