Merkur Solingen Open Comb Base Plate

I only started DE shaving about a month ago, when I purchased a Merkur 33C (closed comb). I am still working out my shave routine, and figuring out what works well and what doesn't. The open comb gives a different shaving experience to the closed comb - slightly more aggressive, as the blurb says. I'm still getting my DE routine down pat, but I think this will form part of my regular rotation
