!!I Could Not Stop Smelling My Wrist!!!

This is one of those scents I physically cannot stop smelling. From the first wear, I knew I was in trouble. I kept bringing my wrist to my nose over and over again, and before I knew it, I had already reached out for a full bottle. I refuse to waste a single drop of this. It is divine. Complex. A gourmand with a story.

Rabbit opens strong and sweet, but not in a flat sugary way. There’s a sparkle of bergamot and apple with soft cinnamon warmth, lifted by green leaves so it feels airy rather than heavy. It reminds me of pink sugar softened by fresh countryside air. There’s this sugar cane sweetness woven through sweet hay and warm grass. It genuinely smells like a field in summer, not sharp or aggressively green, but sun-warmed meadow air brushing against your skin.

Then the magic happens.

As it settles, carrot and clover bloom softly, giving it that pastoral, almost whimsical field quality. Violet and jasmine float in the background, keeping it light. And then the base rises biscuit, vanilla, white almond, musk, and hay. It turns into the most beautiful warm frosting effect.

Not the whole carrot cake. The frosting.

Creamy, fluffy, slightly buttery, lightly powdered. Like cream cheese icing warmed by sunshine. Imagine you’re standing in a field, hay in the air, heat on your skin, little bunnies frolicking in the distance and somewhere nearby someone has just cut into a fresh cake. You don’t smell the entire bakery just the sweetness drifting through warm air.

It smells like a childhood memory. Warm afternoons. Grass on your legs. Cake in the distance. That comforting, safe, nostalgic feeling.

I’m a fitness instructor, so performance matters. When I sweat, I need a fragrance that warms up with my skin instead of turning cloying or sharp. Rabbit holds up beautifully. It lasted through a full workout and softened into an intimate, sweet skin scent rather than becoming syrupy. If you want to be the person who smells amazing at the gym and gets compliments without choking out the room this is it.

After wearing heavier scents like Bee and Moth beforehand, I did experience some nose fatigue and it felt faint to me, but others could still smell it. And funny enough, whenever I wear Bee or Rabbit, my cats try to lick my skin… so clearly, it’s giving edible energy.

Yes, it is sweet. If you’re sensitive to sugary gourmands, one spray is enough. But if you love complex, warm, edible fragrances with personality, this is heaven. It feels like a countryside fantasy in a bottle.

This is a scent I will keep coming back to. Addictive in a quiet way. Soft but powerful. Cozy but radiant. And makes you feel so whimsical, approachable and feel like you live in a little sugary cottage! Not to mention the full bottles packaging is stunning and the bottle itself is cute as.

Is it worth it? Absolutely.
Would I wear it? Constantly.
Would I buy it? Already did.

Opening until Dry Down felling inside birthday cake have a bath. This is what i need

two tries, two completely different perfumes, neither of them for me. first try: itchy nose, christmas candle, overpowering, spicy in a bad way, cloying. the cinnamon and apple and bergamot opening arriving at full volume on a day when my nose wanted anything else. i genuinely couldn't get past the first fifteen minutes. it sat on my wrist doing its spiced-fruit-warmth thing and all i could think about was a cheap christmas candle in a closed room.
second try, different day, calmer nose, and it resolved fast into something much more tolerable. my daughter liked it. she said it's not that bad, it just smells like caramel. which is almost exactly right. once you skip past the christmas candle opening you land in a warm biscuit-vanilla-almond-musk base that's pleasant and sweet and uncomplicated. people call it carrot cake without the carrot and i can see why. the carrot is technically there, sweetened into confection.
the problem is that "pleasant and uncomplicated" isn't what i go to perfume for. i'm looking for complication. i'm looking for something that reads as skin, or warmth, or weather, or a room. rabbit is a dessert i didn't order. once the cinnamon stopped being actively annoying, the drydown had nothing left to say to me.
my daughter though - the biscuit-vanilla-caramel-almond register is firmly in her taste territory, warm and creamy and sweet and unchallenging. i'm flagging this one as a potential gift sample for her rather than for me. the house does beautiful work and rabbit is clearly well made, it's just not pointed at my nose. not a scrubber in the end. just not mine.

Genuinely love the smell of this fragrance but I have to spray it so much on me just to smell it for like 10-20 minutes and then it disappears. For that price I’m super disappointed and wish I never brought it.

Very in your face, if you spray this, people will smell you before they look at you. Birthday party cake with carrot and hay notes, a cult favorite, but not mine unfortunately

Lovely packaging but the scent is not for me.

Very different fragrance and purchased it after a lot of favourable reviews online. Opens very green but the biscuity carrot cake vibe comes through very quickly and last the whole way through. Highly recommend purchase and it makes 4 Zoologist perfumes after Snowy Owl, Tiger and Seahorse for me. Hard to find this house but glad it’s available in Australia thru Mensbiz. Quick delivery too.
