Perfumer’s Inspiration:
A tribute to Equistrius, the gleaming horse that gave Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, a competition rider, his greatest victories. He wanted to create for him the noblest perfume in his collection, built around the noblest of raw materials, inspired by the noblest of man’s conquests. Far from a brutal and figurative representation of the link between man and horse, the perfumer wanted to evoke the softness
of the horse’s breath.

An ode to the precious iris flower and its roots, Equistrius is a sumptuous yet intimate presentation with three exquisite extracts from Florence, all of which add nuance to such precious material. It appeals to those who seek comfort in their perfumes, whose idea of the exceptional does not mean loud - but rather a quiet and elegant seduction. It is sweet and powdery, with a fine wood and musk spine of ambrette and sandalwood. It is nearly hypnotic, quieting and profound: it envelops in its soft roundness, and it is possible to find subdued nuances of violet, rice powder, buttery suede, and cacao.
