It sends your eyes, your nose, your heart into overdrive. So when you’re close to bursting with sensations and emotions, you take to the maquis.

In this fragrance, Marc-Antoine Corticchiato refuses to see nature as restful: green could be red - the new colour of liveliness and passionate rage. This is the energy of a wild and furious nature; elemental forces converge in this fragrance - trees shake in the wind, the sea crashes into cliffs, the mountain maquis is tumbled in this earthen fury - weeds, shrubs, and flowers grow in the jagged cracks that offer some reprieve.

This is a bold and impetuous green, one of the largest ones we know. With wear, it transfers its energy to the wearer - it begins with a rush of wild mint, eau de vie, and pepper - materials with snap and crunch, while a medley of tomato leaf, a trio of lentiscus/mastic extracts, and oakmoss provide the essential green body of this fragrance, its exaggerations of lentiscus shift this green into the radical register - adding a three-dimensional quality that offers textures of sap, moss, leaf, and resin.
