Frapin Terre de Sarment is a scent of sun and earth, inspired by the generous landscape of the Chateau Fontpinot where the Frapin family has lived since the 13th century. The fragrance opens with tangy, fruity notes - perhaps a glass of grapefruit juice or a grape picked straight off the vine. Delicate top notes of neroli are underlined by rich orange blossom to provide fresh-out-the-shower soapy whiffs. As it unfolds, a lash of cumin tinges the slightly smoky sweetness of amyris wood for a hint of sun-warmed skin. In this golden light, woods exude their fragrant tears; cinnamon and vanilla-tinged benzoin, myrrh with its liquorice tone and citrusy, balsamic incense.
