Fantomas presents an immediate clash on the nose, its sensation a singular complexity of milky, gravel-like, fruity, rubbery, smoky, and sweet impressions. Its absurdity - in the name of art - leaves a lasting impression. Nasomatto perfumes can be felt immediately, seemingly refusing to yield to interpretation and decipherment. Indeed, this fragrance is inspired by the crime scenes depicted in the Franco-Italian film Fantomas, which implores us to investigate, seek, explore, diving into the inexhaustible mystery. What we know is that the smell is good, interesting, complex: it works the nerves as much as the brain.

For those familiar with Gualtieri's museum of works, think of Fantomas as a cross between the spicy-leathery-patchouli facets of Pardon, against the curious lactonic notes of Seminalis, and perhaps even the glorious fruity-musk mistake of Blamage. The references are endless because Gualtieri's olfactory palette is consistent - one could call this 'style'. If asked what you're wearing - say nothing - it's a mystery!
