EDITOR'S NOTES

A shot straight to the pleasure receptors, Baraonda is a clear departure from previous Nasomatto stylings, marking a surprisingly transparent style. The clean fruity musk of ambrette seed is combined with a generous dosage of whisky lactones washed in amber, creating impressions of slowly baked apples, caramel, stewed pears, and chocolate. As a result, Gualtieri has created a thickly fruity Highland single malt Scotch. Delicious.
