Editor's Notes

Citrus vibrations. In Italian, Lacura means ‘to take care’ - and there is not much else in the universe of perfumery that feels as salubrious as citruses and the many essences of the orange tree. Revitalising, familiar, soft morning light; throughout the life of Lacura, these notes lend ebullience, and a gently hazy fizziness. Care can also be a caress, an embrace, here the scent of milky, calming, skin-like musk known as Veloutone with distinctive notes of jasmine, lavender, and apricot. The smiling, soft sweetness of pear - juicy and yielding - gives way to amber and a light caramel touch. In this paean to the notion of care, comfort becomes a key theme; as does security, with the fine touches of woody ambers, including ambroxan and cashmeran for balance and stability.
