The note concentrates its landscape, its terroir, standing in for the scorched grasses, hardy shrubs, and stones sizzling in the sun - a veritable ‘cote rotie’ (roasted slope) of weathered cliff faces and earth. Immortelle Solaire is surely an invitation to voyage through this scrubland - finding charming scents that exudes all-over. It is full of delightful paradoxes, sticky like the darkest molasses but also citrusy bright, smoke that is both translucent and fresh, but also reminiscent of roasted coffee and salty liquorice.
