A brutal rose – but nothing to be afraid of. One imagines roses dried by smoke and roses preserved in salt – spiced roses and singed petals. Fresh roses and dead roses – all of which boom with a singular and uniquely passionate smell. The result is an enchanting buzz, intricate and ornate like the costume of a toreador. This is combined with geranium, which emphasises freshness and life, until this swirls onto a potent blend of patchouli, musk, sandalwood, and tobacco – which on the one hand urges you to keep your distance, but on another, beguiles with its confidence and allures with its strangeness.
