Editor's Notes

Cardinal is a timeless scent built around the traditional incense notes of ciste labdanum, frankincense, and myrrh. Lightness and purity is portrayed by a note of fresh, clean linen, working in tandem with these beautiful incense resins. Ambergris, patchouli and vetiver impart this perfume with mysticism and a rare and contemporary elegance. An atmosphere of pure smell.

Sun, warm sand, and a gentle breeze of fresh sea air. Sel Marin is a refreshing and naturalistic picture of the aquatic, beginning with a striking note of lemon that fades to reveal a green algae note, while vetiver and drift wood dry slowly in the background, impregnated with sea water and sunlight.

Menthe Fraiche is a contemporary, ultra-fresh, and natural scent. Crushed mint leaves are interwoven with a hint of Sicilian bergamot, green tea, and white cedar, producing a perfectly light and easy to wear fragrance. An olfactive interlude.

An irresistible, eclectic mix, Note de Yuzu contains the energy and zest of Japanese yuzu layered over aquatic, marine notes. Its immediate fruity freshness softens to reveal a sensual saltiness on the skin, reminiscent of a traditional Japanese yuzu bath.

Heeley’s Agarwoud is a firm favourite, adapting the powerful note to the hallmark Heeley style: symmetrical, transparent, and well-mannered. It’s a rose-oud with remarkable elegance, working each other so they become greater than the sum of their parts. It satisfies a craving for a distinctively oudy woodiness, brought up beautifully with an astringent rosey freshness.

Cologne Officinale is an homage to herbal Marseille soap, and this sturdy and persistent freshness is addictive. There is an undoubtedly retro feeling, lush with greens that are unafraid to be a little bitter, sappy, soapy, or crunchy - enforced with lavender and oakmoss. There’s no mistaking that this is a classic masculine at the intersections of the fougere and chypre categories.
