Czech & Speake No. 88 Cologne

I have been searching for something new, something different, something that is truly unique. This is it! Ive never come across a scent that smells like so many different pleasant things yet comes together to create such a vivid and capturing scent. Its unlike anything you'd expect. It transported me to different times in my life while trying to pin point the vast array of things I was picking up. Its totally Professional while also letting them know you may have a creative or crazy side. If youre on the fence grab the tester and youll see what i mean. Worth every scent! Other reviews hate on the bottle but that's not what youre paying for. Youre paying for the magic inside and to be honest I'd rather more spent on what's in the bottle than a larger percentage spent on fancy packaging that means nothing. We're not paying for a pretty bottle, we're paying for a scent so unique that we're committed to memory. Remember that!

I genuinely love this fragrance.

Love the scent, but received the plainest bottle. 100ml is not as it is in the photo, it looks the same as the one in the 50ml photo, looks cheap as hell and not like it’s been seen in reviews over the last 10+ years. You’d think the 100ml at $300+ would be a much nicer product overall.

This wonderful, long lasting, old school fougere is everything a gentleman could want in a barbershop style scent. Well, the juice is. I just don't get how the manufacturer can make such an awesome fragrance, and then stick it in a rather cheap bottle and box...and still charge through the nose! ...? When I first received No.88 EDC and took it out of its box, and to say I was underwhelmed is an understatement (for the price). I like to imagine that I am fairly well-versed in the fragrance world regarding bang-for-your-buck, as I am the proud owner of 470+ fragrances, and is my privilege to have experienced every level and derivation of fragrance bottles and their packaging. This, unfortunately, felt like I had chucked a cheap frag in my trolley while doing my weekly grocery shopping. I still give this review 5 stars...because the juice is simply that good. *Feel free to pass this on to Czech & Speake, as I stand behind what I have written.
