EDITOR'S NOTES

If you are seeking an amberwood, no less one crafted by the maestro of this profile - Quentin Bisch - this might be the best there is, who weds these modern notes with one of the most ancient: olibanum. This results in a raspiness, like a harsh and fierce desert - but multifaceted and supremely rich and uplifting. Astringency reminiscent of leather, or perhaps more like suede, crossing into vetiver, and then into old woods impregnated with resins and smoke. But there is also some floral, as well as some vanilla. Nothing is left unbalanced.
