Amouage Interlude Man Eau de Parfum

Interlude is like an oil painting drawn with the most expansive paints. From top to base notes, you travel through opening notes of zesty bergamont crushed with black pepper and oregano to heart notes of Amber, frankincense opoponox and myrrh to the base notes of leather, agarwood, sandalwood, patchouli and oud adding depth and texture to every layer of this fragrance. This truly is a masterpiece which took a fair bit of time to grow on me but has became a staple in my collection. The longevity and projection of this fragrance is beyond expectations.

To be honest I wasen't sure about this at first. Its opening comes across as a chaotic mix of dark woods and amber with a hint of something synthetic. 20 Minutes in and its as if you have thick smokey incense billowing from your skin. Indeed it has striking depth and intensity and just the right amount of silage. Two sprays was perfect, anymore than this and you certainly be the eye of the storm...
