Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender Shaving Cream

It's looking like TOBS don't make any bad shaving creams and the Lavender is another good example. The scent is most definitely lavender for those who like it and the cream is purple coloured.

I found this to be on a par with the other TOBS creams except for the avocado which has a better texture. The scent is very good, a natural french lavender type. My only complaint is that, living in Australia my bathroom cabinet can get quite warm and after a while the colour changed to a bright green!

Good strong lavender smell that remains after a lather has been made, with only a small amount needed for a good lather.

I often like to shave at night after my shower and before bed. This is the most relaxing shave cream ever!!! I use a straight razor. I love this cream for two reasons, one is the smell, its is beautiful, it really does smell like fresh lavender, and secondly it provides great glide with its luxury lather. One of my favourites. No pre shave needed, apply and shave.

On top of being a very hearty cream that produces a rich lather, it smells fantastic.
I have a strong bias towards lavender, but this should sit just fine for anyone. I find the scent fairly strong in the bowl and when lathered, but it doesn't hang around too long.
Makes for a superbly relaxing shave.
