Lovely almond scent, slides on easily, good value for money

The TOBS Almond Shave Cream quickly produces a very good lather which has a little more body to it than some of the other TOBS creams I have used. Call me old fashioned but I like the almond scent too. It is noticeable but not overpowering.

I really like this product. The brand is excellent and this product in particular, really suits me. I would recommend it to anyone.

Used it once and could not use it again. Horrible scent, lather is good. Get the sandlewood instead

Typical of this brand a small amount of product makes a very good lather. The smell is what puts this product down in the ratings - Marzipan great if your cooking, not necessarily good for shaving.

A little goes a long way with most of the TOBS range. This particular scent just had me on the outer rails from the start. Awful.. sickly sweet and I really couldn't wait to wash it off. Shave wise I couldn't fault it although I really really loathed it's use....... similar to the rose cream in awfulness. My apologies to all for a negative review... but at least I have been honest with you.

The almond fragrance is one of the staples in my collection of soaps and creams.Bezaldehyde is the ingredient in this cream that provides the almond scent.An interesting thing about Benzaldehyde is that unlike other ingredients that seem to carry a rather dubious reputation with regards to health,it has the reputation of being one which may in fact have some positive effects in relation to cancer fighting properties.In an age where we are constantly being told about the adverse affects of products that we use and enjoy,I found it refreshing to learn that the ingredient that provides the almond scent may in fact be beneficial.With regards to parabens,all of the TOBS cream that I use and which are the current creams being produced are 'paraben free'.This is clearly stated on the bottom of the containers.It is also one of the reasons that I choose TOBS creams.The only one that may not be 'paraben free' is the 'Shaving Shop' cream.TOBS almond shaving cream is a gem and one that I would not be without in my kit.It is easy to lather and provides an irritation free shave with great cushioning.A tub lasts a long time as only a small amount is needed for a 2 pass shave with plenty left over for touch ups.Definitely recommended.

My husband refused to use shaving creams for years. Much to my horror he continued to use soap and water which dried his skin and made him all crusty. He was given a bowl of Taylor of Old Bond Street Almond Shaving Cream as a present from his mother one Christmas and it sat in the cupboard for a few months till I forced him to use it one day (I had to stand there and watch). He was instantly converted and now uses it regularly. We recently purchased the smaller tubes for aa trip to Africa so he could take it with him....his skin has improved and he no longer is dry and crusty
