Speick Men Eau de Toilette

Speick produces natural products and that adds to the pleasure of using this EDT and their other offerings. This is a great fragrance that makes an invigorating start to the day.

This European style, reasonably long-lasting, spicy-citrus-lemongrass fougere, is a little left of center, but in a good way.
As a child in the 80's, my mother would often make fresh-from-the-garden lemongrass tea, the sweet citrusy aroma filling the house.
Imagine for a second if you will that we could bottle that moment in time...and make it into a unisex lemongrass-fougere. Viola!
Speick hails from Germany, and my mother comes from right next door in The Netherlands. Is there something in that? I like to imagine there is.

It’s a bit different, and certainly botanical, and lasts a while; but for the money I was expecting a little bit more. It’s pretty good, though; just expensive. But you never know — you might get compliments on dates and it turns out to be a good investment. I’m glad I bought it, but I won’t replace it when it runs out.

I love this aftershave, smells great, lasts most of the day and get quite a lot of comments as well. Highly recommend.

This is a pretty strong fragrance, especially straight after you spray it on. But give it half an hour, and it's a delightful, unique scent. AND, it lasts!

I’ve always been curious about the EDT since trying Speick’s other offerings; initially, it comes across a bit strong, but drys down into a nice, clean scent. I’m glad I pulled the trigger on this.

I have previously bought some great fragrances from Mens Biz. I just wish with the Speick Eau de toilette that I had tried a sample first. To be honest it makes me feel nauseous and gives me a headache. I had read positive reviews on it, but it's just not for me. The Speick After Shave on the other hand is brilliant. I guess the Eau de toilette is too potent for my liking. My tip for you is try a sample first if you can.

Today is the first day I tried this scent. One squirt onto my wrist, rubbed them together and placed both wrists onto my neck just under my ears and then left for work.

In the car I was met with a foul chemical odor that instantly had me regretting this purchase. To the point of deciding as soon as I got to work I would wash it off.

By the time I got to work it had settled down somewhat and I decided to leave it on. As the day wore on the smell dissipated where I could no longer smell it in the air around me. I was happy and figured it was only $30, I'll re-gift as a Christmas present as I only used one squirt ...

This evening sitting at home I sniffed my wrist and WOW! what a pleasant fragrance!
I don't get this perfume? Straight out of the bottle I found it a horrible scent. At the end of the day, placing my wrist right up to my nose, its a wonderful perfume.

I have a very sensitive nose and I think straight out of the bottle its overpowering and quite strong, a chemical type of fragrance. Once it settles and stops wafting off, I simply love it.

Make of the above what you will.

Would I buy this again, yes.

Being a long term Speick user (shaving stick, bath soap and various other products), the Speick EdT caught my attention when I read a review of it.

I am not disappointed. It's a lovely woodsy yet fresh scent. I'm not normally a patchouli fan but in this combo, I love it. My GF loves it too and others have complimented me on the scent.

I place one spray on my wrist and the rub my wrists together. This lasts me just about the entire day.

One massive benefit is that Speick EdT doesn't flare up my allergies like every other cologne does. This is most likely due to it not containing fragrance oils and is made up of essential oils and no other nasties. I just love it and will always have a bottle on the go.

I highly recommend the Speick EdT to anyone looking for a sophisticated, woodsy, masculine yet refreshing scent.

Can't beat the price either!!!
