This brush is awesome. Good size, soft bristles, nice water retention properties and produces a solid lather. Would recommend.
This brush has sovereign fibres which is the entry level fibre for Simpsons - the platinum synthetic fibres are called ‘synthetic bristles’ and are a tad nicer.

This is simply a well-built high-quality brush. The bristles are super soft yet still has some backbone to give you a well-rounded lather. It loads well, it does hold onto the soap and does require a bit of work to finally get a full-bodied lather. It retains the heat well and combined with a skuttle keeps the lather warm. It is on the high end of the price bracket and is well deserving of the price charged as you are getting a very high-quality, well-built brush that will last for years. Being made of synthetic bristles means that there is no break in time and so far, no shedding of the bristles. A highly recommended shaving brush.
