Simpsons Trafalgar T2 Synthetic Shaving Brush

The brush is much smaller than you think with a stiff base. This translates into a brush that lathers well and has no problem covering your face in shave cream, the stiffer bristles aid in the direction of the brush.
Overall excellent.

I gave Simpsons a hard time when I bought their badger brushes, even raising the ire of owner Simpson's Mark, as he'd picked one out for me and I still complained. They kept shedding, the thicker and more expensive they were, the worse they were. Badger hair is just too hard to handmake. I moved on to Synthetics from other brands and never looked back, Synths are better in every way - more and better lather and easier to make it. This Trafalgar is the best Synth I've owned and it's all I use now. Simpsons have redeemed themselves with this line.

I wanted to replace my old brush I did a lot of research, I like synthetic knots I wanted a brush with a dense knot and good backbone. Alexander Simpson Trafalgar T2 ticked all the boxes, an extremely dense knot great backbone splays well and has an excellent handle. A Simpson brush at a fantastic price.
