Loyal is a surprisingly versatile product. It works as a pre and post-styler, in damp and dry hair, and always leaves my hair feeling nice and soft. I get a natural to low shine from it and a light hold with enough control to keep my style in place,

Great for a quick style and light hold!

My hair is on the wavy, coarse, and dry type. The balm is great for adding in a little bit of frizz control and shine to a messy/shaggy style. Typically apply it while my hair is damp to lock in a bit of moisture as well.

Perfect pre-styler, wash-n-go look

I like the hydration and moisture this product gives. It's also great for taming frizz. My hair tends to be dry so it's perfect as a pre-styler or for a wash-n-go look if I'm feeling lazy. I always start with the All Purpose Oil, then I will use Styling Balm and rake it through my hair with my hands and shape and style. I let it air dry. It adds definition to my wavy and slightly curly hair, with a very natural finish. Hair feels light and healthy after. I can also use this to refresh my bed head in the morning if I'm not showering. I just wet my hair a little, then style with the Balm. Note, this product has zero hold, which I think is fine depending on the look you're going for. Highly recommend.

My New Go-To

I've been a Shear Revival fan for a while now, and Northern Lights has been my usual styling product of choice. I've been growing my hair out for the last 6 months or so (it's the longest it's been), and found Northern Lights to be too heavy. I bought a small jar of Loyal to try it out and ended up buying a large jar. It's light-weight and offers just enough hold to give my hair texture and keep it in place without making my hair feel overly thick or immovable. Another great product from Shear Revival!
