Proraso Shaving Cream Tube: Refreshing, 150ml

This is a fine product, but in my opinion lacks the richness and thick, creamy lather of competitors such as Taylor of Old Bond Sandalwood.

Love this product!! Smells great, feels great on my skin and lathers up easy. Great value for money and a great product, definitely recommend this.

There is just so much of it! The picture is pretty misleading. It foams up beautifully and makes for a really smooth shave. I will never go back to creams out of a can.

Switched to this cream a few months ago and haven't looked back. Lathers perfectly with only a small amount needed.
Doesn't leave irritation and makes my skin feel fresh and clean afterwards.

Would highly recommend.

Great shaving cream, gives a nice thick lather, you can never go wrong with Proraso!

Have been using this for over five years and have no intention of changing brands, as I have never had an issue with my sensitive skin. No rash and a smooth shave with safety razor or cartridge.

Always been a Proraso green shaving soap man, just for a bit of fun tried the cream, my old mate the Proraso green shaving soap will now have a mate next to him from now on.

a really nice way to start your morning. I'm usually a TOBS user, and there's probably a bit more lubrication with the TOBS stuff, but this makes for a good alternative!

Bought this based on the reviews as I wanted to try something different (usually use Taylors of Old Bond Street). The cream was ok but not as much cushion as TOBS and not as smooth a shave. Don't really care for the fragrance.

I got a tube of this at the same time as I bought my first double-edge razor. It was cheap, one of the best value going by money for quantity and had plenty of very positive reviews. When I first applied it to my skin, I got a mild stinging sensation. At first I thought it was just supposed to be a "fresh" or "reviving" feeling, but the longer the cream was on my face, the worse it got. In the end I had a burning sensation bad enough I had to wash the cream off before I finished shaving. I have never had this experience with any shaving product before or since, and I definitely do not consider my skin sensitive. Obviously not everyone gets this burning, so I don't know if it is my skin or just that batch of cream, but I have noticed another review below with a similar issue.

Although this lathers well and provides a decent shave I much prefer the old formula. This formula is a drop in performance and lacks any scent which was a strong point previously. Go for the Proraso red tube which IMO is much better all round.

this is excellent stuff, but the soap pips it out for me due to what i find to be preferable lather properties. like the soap it's free of chemical nasties. it smells just as good as the soap and will really wakes you up in the morning!

For me it works really well with Feather blades and razors and Simpsons best badger Wee Scot brush. The scent is good, and it gives a nice smooth lather. A cold water rinse gives a pleasant cool feeling in Summer. I use it occasionally with the Proraso Pre-Shave cream.

I have sensitive skin and this lather cools and soothes as I shave, making it a far more pleasant experience. Price is very good as well. I find it hard seeing myself using any other shaving cream.

Ah Proraso Green. My first ever shaving cream / soap when I started into Wet Shaving.

I typically now reserve using Proraso when it's warmer weather due to its "cooling" effect.

The scent is very much old school barber shop mixed with a bit of Eucalyptus, which is capable of generating a nice, thick and creamy lather.

I also purchased the Pre/After shave balm as well as the Aftershave. I highly recommend all three products as they all compliment one another! You simply have to give Proraso a shot if you haven't already done so, for the price and performance, its pretty hard not to go for it.

Im a newbie to double edge shaving and using a shaving brush. This brush is everything you could hope for. Soft yet effective and easy to wash out. Recommended & good value for money.

This is a great value-for-money cream. The smallest amount works easily up into a mountain of lather. It is easy to work it, so is good for a beginner learning the art of a good lather. But, be warned, you only need the smallest amount. Start with a little water and add a couple of drops as you progress if needed. I found it hard to recover it when I over did the water.
The eucalyptus and menthol leave the skin feeling refreshed and 'clean'. The blade glides smoothly through the lather.
I will be buying this again, along with the red tube as well!

This is by far my favourite shaving cream. My family keep buying me other products but they just don't compare!

I tried a sample of this cream from a friend and was instantly converted. It simply provides an amazing lather, close shave, great scent at a very affordable price. The tube is larger than I was expecting too - it looks like a medium tube of toothpaste here but is actually much bigger. I was using GFT before (came in my starter kit), but will probably switch to this for now as it is so affordable and provides a crazy good shave for everyday use. I do agree that it can irritate the skin a bit if you are sensitive (I find cucumber witch hazel will settle this down quickly though), so as always individual results may vary.

This product is awesome! Works great, the closest shave I've ever had. The tubes were bigger than I thought, so they are great value. The home delivery is great too! Good job.

Great beginners cream that protects the face really well. The eucalyptus and menthol gives your face a nice warming/cooling feeling when applied to the face. Being a beginner though I did need to learn how to make a lather properly. Once I learnt, it created a rich beautiful lather that smells great and leaves your face feeling refreshed afterwards.

Lathers really well, and cools the face. I normally use the sandalwood version but decided to try green for a change. Now that it is summer, i'm glad I have it with me because it really makes it more enjoyable in warmer weather.

I prefer the scent of sandalwood but this is still great

What can you say that hasn't been said, this stuff is great! I have struggled with razor burn & ingrown hairs for years & this got me sorted in a few weeks. (As suggested I follow up with some Proraso Aftershave Lotion.

Tried the new recipe, smell didn't last long after shaving, which isn't a bad thing. Leaves a nice cool feeling on the skin though. I build the lather directly on my face, lathers really easy. Better than more expensive products I've tried. No skin irritation at all.

This was the first cream I used for D/E shaving. It's great on the face and lathers nicely from a bare amount. A nice place to start for a D/E beginner,

I really love this cream. A small amount works into a rich lather that smells great and feels good on my skin. The cold rinse leaves my skin feeling sensational and tingling. Highly recommend this cream.

I really wanted to like this cream, but unfortunately it made me feel like my face was covered in chemical burns. No other cream or soap I've used to this day has been quite that bad. I do have slightly sensitive skin, but this stuff felt like fire.

I purchased this mainly due to being so impressed by the pre/post shave cream.
It is now always my go-to cream for travelling when I cannot take my Mitchells Wool Fat Soap dish. I struggle to not use it every day because it does such a bloody good job.
I love the fragrance, it lathers easily, is nice on my skin and it is old school Italy.
Like the pre/post cream, I believe it is essential in any gents kit!
