This works really well, does the job like any alum stone. I preferred this due its handle as it makes it easy to use and store. The stone seems very durable and will last a while to come. Should be used by every wet shaver to soothe the skin after a shave.

Works as advertised. Really like the plastic holder. Feels really smooth and so far is lasting a long time.

Great product! Does as it says, looks like it will last a long time. I like the fact it comes in a easy to use plastic holder with screw top, I can close the lid once done and put it in the drawer with other things without worry. I'll buy this again once my current one is used.

Stick works well but plastic lid failed leaving the stick loose.

This alum stick does the job nicely and I'm sure it will last a long time. It feels like smooth glass on my face.

One thing I noticed is the plastic handle is prone to cracking if you try and adjust the alum stick to be perfectly aligned, so that was slightly annoying but no big deal.

I use alum as a deodorant, and after a few drops of the alum blocks, I thought I'd try this to get a bit better grip.

The bottom of the case works quite well as a grip, and the screw-down cover is pretty handy if you want to take the alum with you when travelling.

All round, pretty happy with this.

Alum, where have you been all my life? This stuff is amazing, and the shape of this is so easy to use. Every shave I have had with this now takes longer by at least three minutes.
1 - You really do need to rub it on and let it dry until you feel it tighten your skin. For me this is as least 3 minutes.
2 - Then I give it a quick rinse, and apply witchhazel and then moisturiser.

It does result in without a doubt the best feeling shave for me yet. I can't believe that I haven't discovered this before now.

I'm new to DE shaving so I bought this to try out on the nicks and cuts. It worked much better than I expected. It's now a must have item in my DE shaving kit.

Just follow the instructions and any nicks you may inflict on yourself stop bleeding miraculously

I have used the Alum blocks before and found them effective but the design of the Omega stick is great for application for face and under arm. Its packaging is great and helps protect the stick should you or little fingers drop it.

Not cheap but works perfect and the case is robust and easy to handle. Well worth the extra price over cheaper options out there

Nice to use after a shave to stop minor cuts. I was deciding between this and a more expensive alum block but I'm happy with the quality of this product.

The alum stick is useful when DE shaving for a number of reasons.

1. When applied after a shave it gives feedback for any areas of the face that have razor burn or nicks.

2. It closes the pores post shave, protecting your face.

Not cheap just for alum, but it lasts ages and is a quality product.

Returning to DE Shaving after a 35 year gap and I am impressed with all of the products available including this one which is really effective,a big improvement on the Styptic Pencil I have used in the past.

Does the job, convenient and not messy like an alum block. Everything a busy shaving man needs.

This is a great product. Easy to use. Easy to take with you when traveling and works perfectly.
It also looks like it is going to last forever.

Good product with excellent packaging. Works as intended on the face with the added benefit of being easy to hold and store. If it ever runs out I will be buying another.

This one has made it into my business travel dopp kit. Much more convenient with the plastic case than a cardboard box.

I was swaying whether to get the alum block or this handy stick, I am so glad I got this stick!

For me ease and simplicity is very important especially early in the morning when I'm trying to get out the door for work. This handy alum stick does exactly that! Makes finishing a shave easy and quick.

Wouldn't have any other Alum block now!

Just as good as the rest for less. I like this better because its easy to travel with as it comes in a plastic case instead of a cardboard box. Works just as well as the rest just needs a few more passes on the skin.

Having owned a "Styptic Pencil" in the past (which lasted a life time) and also owning the Bloc Osma (which is a rectangle shape) I thought I would give this Osma Alum Stick a go!

First off, it comes nicely packaged in a box (as pictured). The Alum itself is housed in a hard clear plastic top, and a soft plastic bottom (hard to see from the picture). This would make a great travel companion.

Now, could this replace a Styptic Pencil? Sure it could, but keep in mind its not as thin, so dabbing it on small cut will cover more ground.

Is it better than the Bloc Osma? I would say so, because it's easier to hold, and easier to store away instead of putting it back in the box it came in (as I do).

All in all, I would recommend this to anyone looking for an all rounder easy to transport Alum Stick. Its great value and versatile! Did you read what else you can use it for? After Shave, Facial Toner (works great!), Natural Deodorant and Odour Remover!
