Geo. F. Trumper Rose Shaving Soap in Bowl, 80g

Being a fan of all things Geo F Trumper, I thought I would give this soap a try. This was the first GFT soap I have used as I have always used their creams until now.
Having used their "Coral" skin food, I was hoping that this soap would smell similar, and I was right. It absolutely compliments using the skin food either before / after the shave.
The wooden bowl is nice and elegant as well as the external packaging which gives you a brief history of GFT.
The Soap itself is an absolute wonder to use. Lathers up quickly to make a nice soft cream which provided plenty of cushion while shaving and didn't "Dissolve" as some soaps do.
Is it worth the money? Most defiantly! I suggest also purchasing some "Coral" Skin food as this would compliment this soap nicely.
The Scent is like fresh roses, and not overpowering at all!

I've gradually been using up all my shave creams and going over to shave soaps.

Geo.F.Trumpers Rose shaving soap (and bowl) was something I have wanted to try for some time.
Let me tell you, I was not disappionted !!

Gosh, the moisturising properties are superb for my face, the fragrance is to die for.
I intended this soap to be a replacement for T.O.B.S. Rose scented shaving cream and
I know now this will be my "rose of choice" in soaps.

I have very sensitive skin and more often than not, I end up with razor burn / rash, after
shaving. Not so with Trumpers Rose shaving soap. I've only used it once (just now) but
by golly, it's a new experience to say the least !!

I am a very happy shaver.

Takes a little while, but develops an excellent lather. The rose scent is very nice and not overly strong. The wooden bowl is well made and very classy.
