The Feather WS-D2S Wood Handle Stainless Safety Razor with Stand is a precision built tool of the highest quality. This 3-piece razor features a handle and stand made from Resin-Impregnated Wood Laminate, which is created by slowly soaking natural wood in resin. This maintains the natural texture of wood while also offering excellent water resistance and preventing deformation or warping. All metal parts are made from satin finished stainless steel. The long 105mm handle offers a solid and well balanced grip. While it will hold any blade, it has been specifically engineered for use with the extremely sharp Feather blades. Comes in a handsome gift box and includes five FREE Feather Hi-Stainless Platinum Blades to get you started. Replacement blades sold separately.

Not just a tool, a work of art

Like John (23/02/2016)I too spoilt myself with this razor as an early 2016 Christmas present. Delightful to look at, hold and also to use. For 10 months I had been using the $10 Feather Popular DE Razor; it was okay, but shaving with WS-DIS Wood-handle was an altogether more satisfying experience and smooth too boot. A work of art; quality craftmanship that really exudes luxury. I agree with John, in that it's the best razor (in so many ways)I have ever used. Treat yourself!

Best looking razor around

Spoilt myself at Christmas time and bought this razor. It is a high end luxury product so it looks amazing but it also serves a more important purpose for me - it tames the Feather blade. This razor and the feather blade just glide off my face while giving me an extremely close shave at the same time. It's hard to explain until you actually use it. It's the best razor I have ever used. Worth the money. PS - looks great with the Acqua Di Parma wooden shave brush and stand in the bathroom. Love it.
