D. R. Harris Eucalyptus Shaving Cream Tube, 75ml

This is a superb quality shaving cream. You only need a small amount to produce a rich, thick and incredibly slick lather (and no, I didn’t have the slightest difficulty opening the tube!) My skin is both sensitive and slightly oily, but the Eucalyptus shave cream has caused me no irritation at all. My skin feels smooth and comfortable after shaving with it. The eucalyptus scent is very noticeable, without being overpowering or “medicinal”. I like the scent very much. It’s not dissimilar to Proraso Green (which is certainly less expensive ml for ml), but the overall quality of the lather, its skin calming capabilities and its wonderful slickness make the better choice (for me, at least). To the extent it’s relevant, I’ll add than I’m an experienced wet shaver, who has used a great many shave soaps over the years. This is one of the best.

Useless bit of foil which too difficult to remove. I won'r buy this again and had stick a scredriver in to use it.

Works very well as a shaving cream. Easy to lather, very smooth and minimal irritation post-shave. The cooling effect as said by another reviewer for the jar sized pack is just the right amount.

Lastly the scent; this is where it becomes a bit subjective. The scent is subtle and not strong, I couldn't catch much of a eucalyptus aroma in the lather. I personally would've preferred a stronger fragrance like Proraso green or Santa Maria Novella, but if you're the kind of person who doesn't like strong fragrances then add a star to the review score.
