Captain Fawcett's Private Stock Beard Oil, 50ml

I highly recommend this for any gent with facial hair. It softens the hair and provides a soft gloss with a very pleasant botanical smell. You will notice the difference to how your facial hair feels and looks as soon as you start using it. Buy together with the folding comb and you can't go wrong.

I replaced my poor quality Bearded Sailor oil with this one based on recommendation of my barber. It's a distinct smell, so I get why it may not get along with everyone. Texture is amazing! My previous oil was very thick and didn't across my beard easily, so I used a lot more and had to rub it in aggressively. This one spreads naturally while lightly rubbing in. No doubt helps with keeping the hair supple and tame.

I recently bought my second bottle of this oil for my husband as we both love it. It has a masculine fragrance which drives me nuts and makes his beard super soft. the other day a girl friend of his gave him a kiss hello and said 'Oh my god you smell amazing! what are you wearing? I need that for my man!' She pulled out her phone and ordered some online right there and then haha.

So contrary to some reviews i love the smell, its woody and manly exactly how i like my lumberjack to smell!

Very pleasant fragrance. After rubbing through beard I run hands through hair which gives a nice amount of oil for grooming head hair as well. Beard is softening and relieves early beard scratchiness. Great stuff....

My beard feels good, and I think its getting softer (or is that because its growing longer?).

Mrs doesnt wanna go near my face, the smell isn't the best. Very citrus/alo vera type of smell to it.

Have tried a couple beard oils but this one smells the best and I like the dropper.

After reading about this product in a men's fashion magazine I was keen to give it a try. Until then, I had found my beard to be difficult to comb into shape and - to be honest - the scratchiness was starting to irritate me.

Three days after ordering, my beard oil arrived and I wasted no time in trying it out. The first thing I noticed about the product is the fragrance. It is a strongly masculine fragrance with lots or wood and spice notes. I was a little taken aback by this but decided to press on.

The packaging recommends using about eight drops of the oil (but I tend to use the entire contents of the dropper). Apply to the palm of your hand(s) and rub over the beard. Comb the oil into the beard. I immediately found combing to be more manageable and those frequently errant strands of hair became a thing of the past. My beard looks neater for longer and regains shape easily every time I comb it.

I was amazed to discover that after four days my beard felt incredibly soft which was a major contrast to before.

A quick note about the fragrance. Don't be put off by its robustness when first applied. The fragrance tends to fade rapidly, leaving a vaguely woody scent which is quite enjoyable.

If you are serious about maintaining your beard then Captain Fawcett's Private Stock Beard Oil is a must for you.

I enjoy using this product very much. It smells good, not too strong for something on your face. It does make your facial hair a fair bit softer (the wife appreciates it). And as a bonus, you feel pretty fancy putting it on!

I don't have a beaerd but I did use this sample as a preshave oil when travelling. It softened up a significant growth nicely and provided a nice lubricant for a shave with Lucky Tiger.
