Captain Fawcett's Booze & Baccy Beard Balm by Ricki Hall, 60ml

I didnt really know what to expect from the Booze and Baccy Beard Balm. When i opened the tin and with the first whiff of the scent i loved it. The product is easy to use. The balm dissolves nicely in your hands and applies well to your beard. The scent changes a little over the first hour or so becoming more subtle and a little spicier smelling than booze and baccy. I find the scent mixes well with some of the colognes i use as well. Will happily purchase again when i eventually run out... a little goes a long way!

Really great classic smell, definitely gives off a vintage masculine vibe, and there's no staleness one might expect from the combination.
Keeps the stray hairs in check for a time, but where it loses hold it makes up for in the lasting scent and conditioning.

I was a bit apprehensive of the booze & baccy element of this. I wasn't sure if it was 'dirty pub at 5 am' or warm glow of pipe tobacco and whisky by the open fire'. Turns out it's neither, but much closer to the latter - a really pleasant scent; kind of 'christmassy' with nutmeg almost cinammon spicy notes.
OK, so the fragrance gets strong pass marks, the balm itself? Like a soft wax. Easy enough to extract and emulsify. Goes onto the beard well and doesn't feel oily or dirty. I've got a bit of the new beard itch going on and this definitely subdued that (pretty much immediately).
Overall, really happy with this product all round. Could be cheaper, so it loses a point there, but otherwise great stuff. Enjoy.

Haved used many balms over the years and this is now my balm of choice. Warms into a nice balm with ease, pleasant, non-overbearing scent, does the job of styling and conditioning your beard and you're not left with greasy residue on your hands afterwards. Terrific product!
