I'm loving this wax. I was nervous when the product was not available for shopping due to packaging change but it came back soon. I live overseas and I made sure to buy enough. Either for a wet or dry look, this product is ideal against ambient humidity.

Blumaan products are high quality, and provides salon-grade performance. My verdict is that the product resembles more of a wax or putty than a soft cream. It does thicken hair and easy to style (a slight tug when applying and dries quickly). I do like that the ingredients are high quality and do not contain parabens. Although it is a salon-grade product, I deducted a star due to its quantity vs price point.

Used as a Pre style. I found it beneficial and easier if you apply wet to damp into the hair. It spreads out better. Instantly gives weightless volume. Also it doesn't flake which i like. Overkill on the price :(

I have been using a quiff like style for the past 6 years and I have to say I'm truely amazed by this product. From old spice, axe, American crew, and dove, this product is definitely among the top in terms of quality. My natural hair is wavy and extremely soft, meaning that products that hold your hair up tend to to struggle with doing so. In the past, products dont come out as clean, aren't as easy to manage, or end up making my soft hair so heavy that they end up falling down. This product is a solution to all that. Not sure what happened with the product they sent me. . . . I didn't buy from Amazon, I had a discount code and purchased through their website. This product does hold well, but the problem is from getting it from the jar to my hands and my hands to my head without it "beading. " I'm going to post photos for reference. With other hair products like this I "emulsify" by taking the product and rubbing it in my hands to spread it evenly across palms. With this product I get patches of beads I would describe as a chalky texture. If this happens I have to wash the product off and get some more. At first I thought that maybe the little specks would fade during the day so I applied the styling cream anyways, but I was wrong. I looked like I had dandruff that had been released from my scalp and just sticking all through my hair. Fortunately, I use new hair products on a weekend when I can just wash it out and reapply casually or just wear a hat. I have noticed that this product is less likely to accumulate into those chalky beads if my hands are wet, but the cream is advertised as being useful for wet or dry looks. When looking at the photos, the dry one is the one where my hands look diseased. . . yuck. The wet one has the sheen. Why 2 stars then? And not just 1? Well it does do a good job for the wet look and maybe one day I'll use it for that reason.

I received a slightly less white product but not as yellow as some have complained. It's probably best to order this directly from the blumann here you just save on shipping. Not sure if I'm getting less than the best experience because of this as I'm a new user of the product. It's a little on the pricey side but it's a decent product I think. I notice a slight flaking flying around upon rubbing it in my hands which I don't like because I like to keep the chemicals I bring into the home under control. I have thick hair, I only use this as a pre-styler apply it to towel dry hair before I blow dry. This prevents any clumping and after blow drying The product tends to dry thicker, which is good because it starts out pretty thin. It's not heavy grab or pull. I can't say that it's good enough as post styler for me. It's worth a try if it suits you. It has a consistent peppermint smell. Not too strong a smell though. Personally my eyes are sensitive to peppermint.

Got my order of "Original" in direct from Blumaan and it is what I was expecting. White, not buttery, and hold is as expected. See last picture. Shows the latest and greatest direct from Blumaan, the stuff I got via Amazon and then a jar of Smooth (direct from Blumaan) for the heck of it. I am sending this particular jar back via Amazon and have ordered a jar of Original direct from Blumaan as well as a jar of their new "smooth" (hey, why not?). Smooth came in yesterday and is MUCH more like what I'm used to. It's slightly more, well. . smooth, than Original, but overall it's not anything like what I received originally via Amazon. It's much thicker, white and not warm buttery looking/feeling. I'm not sure how but it appears I just got a bad jar somehow. I don't know if it had gotten too hot somewhere in transit or something else, but bottom line, it appears the product has not changed. I just got a bad jar somehow. In the future I will likely just order direct to try to avoid this happening again. I will update again once the new jar of "Original" comes in and also add some pictures comparing all 3 jars. Original Review 11/30/2016:have ordered this product several times since it was first introduced. It was literally the only product I had used since first trying it as I absolutely loved it. It was the only true low shine / high(ish) hold product that I've been able to find and worked great in my hair. That was then. . . The problem is my most recent order of Original is totally different. It's yellow instead of white, the consistency is like soft butter instead of the much more firm consistency that it had always been previously. The hold is also very much lacking now. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed. I contacted Blumaan via their website and was told that they recently made a container change and the "product may act a little different". Not sure how a container change alone would change the product to this degree. I originally thought maybe they had messed up and put the "Original" label on some of their new "Smooth" product, but apparently not. See attached pictures for old vs. new. I could totally understand the difference if this were their new "smooth" product or something along those lines, but this is not that. . this should be the same ol "original" I've been buying since it was first introduced, but it isn't. Or at least, in my opinion, it isn't. See attached pictures. The difference is even more obvious in person. Hopefully they go back to the old stuff is all I can really say.

It works exactly like it's advertised. Let your hair dry a little bit before using. Very good gel that holds for a long time but looks natural
