Used the three Proraso soaps a lot over the past decade, mostly the Green and White varieties. I get a great shave on two-three day old stubble, but for daily shaving find there is irritation that makes the daily shave uncomfortable by the end of the week. The lather seems inconsistent despite my routine remaining the same. Have only been using this product as it is readily available in physical shops, and quite cheap.

It also seems like the scent of the product, and quality of the lather deteriorates as you work your way through the tub.

Have had much better results; richer lather, smoother shaves, little-no irritation with Cella, and even Col. Conk (with the right water chemistry). A shame that Mensbiz doesn't seem to stock either anymore.

Lather was soapy and thin, no matter what I tried. After applying I'd start shaving and after a few strokes on one side of the face, the other was no longer lubricated. Back to Taylor of Old Bond Street which costs more but goes on thick and creamy and far more enjoyable.

A really great product at a very competitive price and does the job really well. For those with sensitive skin, this is a good product to consider using.

good buffer, less burn and cuts, but i found it left my skin feeling slightly irritated. I was expecting little to no scent, but it does smell of some persons idea of masculinity.

Functional, but not the pamper product i was hoping for.
