Used only as a pre-shave, melts nicely in your hand before application and massages into your beard. Smells great with a nice menthol tingle while you shave. Gives great confidence when shaving as the razor glides through your growth. always love shaving with this gear.

I don't usually use a pre shave (due to a bad experience with a different product a while ago) but I thought I'd pick one up anyway just to give it a go!
I have sensitive skin and i could really feel the added cushioning and gliding of the razor over my skin.
Very comfortable shave, with no irritation in the areas that i am prone to. I highly recommended this product lads!

This pre shave has a refreshing citrus/grapefruity scent that is ideal for warm summer mornings. It protects my skin very well and helps prevent ingrown hairs and razor burn. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I like the green tub and bought this for winter after being told there was no Menthol in it buy a Men's Biz employee. There is definitely menthol here, albeit less than the green one. Still, it's good stuff, although it hasn't been getting much use since I picked up a quality preshave oil. If you want a preshave with no menthol look elsewhere, otherwise get yourself some of this.

If you want a nice cream that feels great on your face, and even more importantly is moderately priced, get the Proraso range. I dont waste my time with anything else, why pay more?

Was my first proraso product. I was very wary as I have sensitive skin and am even more sensitive to smells and perfume. I absolutely love this product! It does have a light to medium perfume but smells natural and fresh, very unusual for me I actually enjoy the smell. I use it in conjunction with the white pre shave cream. Couldn't be happier.

Like the green Proraso pre-shave cream, the white Proraso pre-shave cream is a fantastic product to use before and after a shave. Just like the green version, it's soothes and softens the skin.

Unlike the green pre-cream, it doesn't have the strong odour due to it containing oatmeal and green tea extracts rather than eucalyptus and menthol. If you're put off by the strong odour of the green pre-shave cream, you will love the white pre-shave cream.

A fantastic product pre and post-shave, especially for sensitive skin.

Being new to wet shaving I wanted as much assistance and protection as possible against an inexperienced hand.
I found that as long as you make sure you massage it in thoroughly then lather on top, it works a treat. I coupled this with the Proraso white soap BTW.
Smooth, irritation-free shaves were the result. If you have the time, reapply between each pass, especially if you have dry skin.
As the title alluded to, I use this pre AND post-shave. As a post shave balm it cooled the skin and felt so refreshing.

I applied the product directly after a shower and what a difference it makes to razor burn, razor glide, and nics. I use a shavette along with Cella shaving cream and did not experience a clash of aromas on any level.

Over all , simply an outstanding product and a product that will form a permanent part of my shave kit...

Like its counterpart, its sensational. Very cooling as a pre and post shave lotion and just feels fantastic on the skin.

Only wish that MensBiz could stock the old 500ml tubs of the green one I used to get.

And there bigger tubs for this version - you only seem to have 100ml at this point

Great product!

Pros: Provides a "cusion" effect when used with Proraso white shaving soap. Razor glides smoothly. Green tea and oatmeal are great for the skin.

Cons: It still gave me a burning sensation as if i was using the menthol version and it didn't feel good, mind you i haven't touched the razor yet and it stung .

Bottom Line: If you have sensitive skin try an alternative like Skin Food it feels great throughout the whole shave.

On an important note, dont make this stop you from buying Proraso White shaving soap, its great with no burning sensation if you dont mind a soap that doesnt leave a scent.

Pre-shave treatments tend to be hit-or-miss for most people. Some find no difference aside from the sensation from the menthol and some find that it helps improve the shave, reducing burn, nicks and cuts and making it easier for the blade to slice through the hair. With that said, I find it does improve my shave when combined with Proraso sensitive.

Note that the menthol is not for everyone and it did take me time to get comfortable with the cooling sensation it produces. Since this cream has a fragrance to it, combining it with other fragrant products can make the odours clash, so you're best using it with Proraso sensitive.

For the cost (this is one of the cheapest pre-shave products on the market) it's worth trying to see if you get anything out of a pre-shave cream/oil.

I've been using the Menthol version of this for at least 15 years which is awesome. Thought I would give this a go.

I'm not disappointed with it. It's got a very pleasant herbally type smell, and does the same job as the menthol version.

However, if you are looking for a bit extra sting, and to cool your skin down post shave, go with the menthol.

Either one however, and you cant lose

Love this product! How can it make my skin feel like I am out in a blizzard then leave it with a warm glow afterwards?
I only use it as a pre-shave (reapply after each pass) and find it allows a smooth shave - more so than without.
This is now my pep-shave of choice and I will continue using it.

I've tried shaving both with and without this product, using the same razor/blade combo and the same pre-shave routine - other than the menthol cooling effect, it hasn't made any difference to the ease of shaving or the elimination of razor burn. it feels nice, but doesn't noticeably soften my whiskers nor provide any extra lubrication.

I'd say save your money for a better blade and just make sure your pre-shave routine is good.

Feels more like a moisturiser, great prep for a great shave.

i used this to help with my razor burn, and it helped alot , hardly ever getting it now.

This product has transformed my shaving. My whiskers are very tough, this cream softens them up and gets them ready for the blades to glide over. I apply straight after my shower to a wet face, then lather and shave. Another application before the next lather and I'm done.

Outstanding, this will be a permanent part of my routine from now on.
